iEngim s.r.o. is an engineering company with a family tradition focused on machining. We offer our clients machining on both conventional and CNC machines. We mainly focus on the machining of rotary parts in both piece and serial production. We weld structural and stainless steel structures and complete assemblies throughout Europe. We assemble small single-purpose machines or fixtures according to drawing documentation.
Manufacturing toys and inventing various technical improvements was the life of my grandfather Antonín Život. Many practical and patented products as well as his good character inspire me to continue in the family tradition.
In 1935, Antonín Život founded a wooden-toy-making company in Pardubice. He built a production facility, purchased machinery, opened a shop, and over time he also employed skilled people to cope with the increasing number of orders and new ideas. The circle of close workmates increased, and other family members also participated in the success and development of the company.
An essential part of their business development was also the participation in various trade fairs and exhibitions. Due to his technical skills, imagination, experience with wood, and reliability, my grandfather’s ideas were also applied in further industrial production. He became a designer and consultant in a local factory, which made machinery for export worldwide.
Although I never got to know my grandfather personally, the memories of those close to me remained, as did his photographs, designs, and patent records. Not even the family’s corporate property remained.
Their assets were nationalised in 1948, and further production ideas and thoughts thus remained only on paper. The little ones who loved my grandfather’s toys no longer had the opportunity to enjoy them.
His business spirit and production tradition has been passed from generation to generation up to today, when the manufacturing and trading company iEngim s.r.o. was founded. It is based on traditional values that have guided us for decades.
